• Description: FinBOL primary goal is to build a complete DNA barcode reference library for all multicellular species reported to occur in Finland. FinBOL operates largely as a network of species experts. Activities are coordinated by the major natural history museum of Finland, with the University of Oulu being the main responsible organization. FinBOL is financially supporting collection, assembly and sequencing of specimens for barcoding.
