- Description: The Bulgarian Barcode of Life project (BgBOL) is a national network that brings together six research institutions and the scientific publisher Pensoft with the aim to establish collaboration on DNA barcoding in Bulgaria, and become a regional representative of the International Barcode of Life (iBOL) project. BgBOL aims to develop a targeted, systematic and large-scale inventory of the diversity of major groups of organisms through the application of DNA methods in Bulgaria.
