- Description: 1) Increase the research capacity of IPPG and its partner Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research (IBER) in DNA barcoding technologies – build a knowledge platform through an exchange of experience from leading European groups, organization of training events. 2) Increase the networking capacity of IPPG in DNA barcoding technologies both at national and international level. 3) Promote and enhance plant and phytopathogenic fungi biodiversity studies in Bulgaria through DNA barcoding technologies – focus on natural populations of endangered and endemic for Bulgaria species, medicinal plants, crops on economical importance. 4) Active participation in project initiatives of iBOL and its hub BIOSCAN Europe in the field of plant biodiversity studies. 5) Develop a knowledge and network platform for the establishment of BulBol community – a beyond project goal
