- Description: The InBIO Barcoding Initiative (IBI) makes use of Next Generation Sequencing technologies (NGS) to develop a reference collection of DNA barcoding sequences, focusing on African taxa. Within the project, a special focus is afforded to insects, given their relevance to food webs and ecosystems functioning.
