The next Community Meeting will take place on Monday, 28 September, between 15:30 and 16:45 CEST.
We’ll start the meeting with Nikolaus Szucsich (Natural History Museum of Vienna), who will share with us some insights into the organisational, infrastructural, and scientific developments of ABOL – the Austrian Barcode of Life – in its (more than) ten-year lifespan, as described in this recent paper.
Afterwards, Robert Waterhouse (Swiss Bioinformatics Institute) will introduce us to CONSENSA, the COST Action focusing on Consensus Standards for Applied Biodiversity Genomics – which also starts this month.
We’ll also share the latest news about DNABARDIV, as we will be fresh from its first MC meeting. Emily Hartop (NTNU) will share some updates on OPENBAR.
